National Flags Made Out Of Food

At the last Sydney International Food Festival, the advertising agency WHYBIN/TBWA designed national flags out of food, but not just any ol’ edible items – only food items and ingredients that are native to the nation. That’s right: spaghetti with basil and tomatoes for Italy, Tuna sashimi on rice for Japan, etc. The assembly of the flags required some serious creativity at times (thank WHOAness for starfruit, otherwise the Vietnamese flag would have been a real challenge) that made us say WHOA!. We had a fun time trying to identify all the ingredients (and flags), but more than anything, we were left hungry after putting together this post. Yum.
